Nelson Ghost Town Shoot

On July 3,2021 We did a photoshoot at the Nelson Ghost Town in Nelson Nevada. Its rich with plenty of photographic opportunities. The folks who run the Ghost Town were absolutely amazing and very hospitable. They allowed Caitlin to use the bedroom in the main house to change between outfits which made it very convenient. We were blessed with a overcast day which made it easy for getting a great photo session.

I was using Caitlin as our model for the day. Absolutely could not have been a better choice. She brought three outfits and with hard work she put into her hair and makeup, She really filled the Pin Up theme perfectly. She brought her boyfriend David along. Which made a great addition to the shoot. David was amazing great personality. He helped out all the way through the shoot and even brought some really good picture ideas to the theme of our shoot. David was a great asset to both Caitlin and myself.

We took close to one-hundred photos. With Caitlin’s experience she did all her own poses and choose her spots that she wanted shoot. Caitlin directed a perfect shoot all the way through. there are so many opportunities to shoot from at the Nelson Ghost Town you could easily go there three different times with three different models and have three different photo sessions.

We finished in just over two hours of shooting. Caitlin really worked hard all the way through. Its easy to see how hard models are working especially when they know they are the center of attention of the shoot. All in all a great morning and a special thanks to David for his assistance throughout the shoot. When shooting in Nelson it is recommended to have that third person.
